This reflection focuses on the ecosystem of digital social networks in general, and their actors in particular in Mali, a country undergoing a digital transition. To do this, it specifically examines the terminological creation in the digital narratives of certain Malian influencers. As such, the role of digital social networks in transforming public discourse, as well as in the diffusion and appropriation of these linguistic innovations, serves as the framework for this study. The aim of this study is to explore the mechanisms of terminological creation through a qualitative analysis of the content produced by certain influencers. This reflection, which adopts a narratological approach, aims to analyze, using qualitative methods, how influencers contribute to Malian digital culture and visibly influence trends and behaviors among young people. The results of our study show that Malian influencers use social networks as a privileged space for terminology creation. They mobilize a wide variety of linguistic processes to invent a lexicon rooted in the cultural, social, and political realities of the country.
