Abstract

The article reports on an explanatory study which has been carried out within the context of a college professional training in «social development and mediation through sport». From the observation of proxemics distances built during interactions between the teacher from APSA (physical, sport and artistic activities) and youngsters from PJJ (judicial and youth protection), this study aims at bringing out the teacher «déjà-là» (already there). Our theoretical frame is clinical didactics associated with proxemic. Through some rites of interaction, we’ll try to describe the teacher’s primary elaborated configurations/layouts and to put forward some hypotheses (from some intuitions) as concerns his/her «déjà-là» position. The proxemic method and videography have enabled to visualize some topologies. The results show the presence of a «déjà-là». Which influence the sport instructor’s professional strategies? This explanatory study will be an opportunity for an attempt at transposition-importation of the concept of proxemics in clinical didactic.
