Evaluation
Evaluation Processes
The Journal is composed of four sections and the evaluation and selection process depends on each of them.
The evaluation of papers in the section "Encounters of Swiss Hispanism" will be carried out by the section coordinators.
The themes of the "Thematic dossiers" are first presented to the editors and/or members of the SSEH. An initial evaluation of the work in the dossier is carried out by the coordinators of the dossier. Subsequently, the dossier as a whole will be subject to a peer review process (external Peer Review), organised by the editors of the journal.
Contributions to the section "Young Hispanists in Switzerland" will first be evaluated by the section coordinators. Afterwards, the papers will be subject to an external peer review process, organised by the editors of the journal. In addition, the editors of the journal may request an evaluation report from the members of the Scientific Committee.
The Editorial Board will decide on the acceptance and publication of articles received by spontaneous submission (section "Varia"). They must be written in Spanish, always be original, unpublished and respect the editorial rules of the journal.
Due to the deadlines for evaluation and the possibility of possible revisions of articles, proposals must be submitted before 1 March for the current year's issue, which is published in autumn.
