This first part focuses on terminology in African languages. It comprises 17 articles from the proceedings of the international scientific conference held from July 28 to 31, 2025, at Yambo Ouologuem University in Bamako (UYOB-Bamako, Mali) on the theme: “Towards greater development of terminology in African languages.”

During this conference, the presentations focused on three main areas: 1) terminology, 2) lexicology-lexicography, and 3) literacy in African languages. However, the first part of Volume 2, Number 1 consists mainly of articles dealing with terminology in African languages.

Discover exceptional evidence-based papers from academic research in scientific terminology in African languages, particularly in the physical sciences, mathematics, legal sciences, and linguistics, including theories and methods of terminology research in African languages.
