Résumé

Ivorian languages are vital for cultural heritage and identity. However, they face preservation and integration challenges in official education and communication. In Côte d’Ivoire, the dominance of French relegates local languages to informal use, hindering their transmission to future generations.

It is essential to valorize languages like Baoulé and Dioula. Achieving this requires appropriate linguistic policies to encourage the production of pedagogical and media content. Such institutionalization is key to transforming them into languages of knowledge
