Sprachbarrieren überwinden – Soundwelten entdecken: Herausforderungen und Chancen der Kreation von Hörbeiträgen mit geflüchteten Jugendlichen

Abstract

As part of the Ohren auf Reisen project in Lucerne, 13 young refugees from Afghanistan, Eritrea, Somalia, and Syria created personal audio portraits on the topic of what their former or current home sounds like. The analysis shows that under the condition of limited common language, the sensual experience of everyday sounds is of central importance.
