Call for ECEM Venues 2021 and 2023

14-06-2019

The European Group for Eye Movement Research https://eyemovement.org/ invites proposals from local organizers to host the biennial European Conference on Eye Movements (ECEM) for the years 2021 und 2023. Universities, research institutions, and similar organizations in the field would be ideal candidates. ECEM is interested in reaching researchers from countries around the globe, but the venue is traditionally situated in Europe. The conferences normally take place from Monday through Thursday in the second half of August.

The 20th ECEM will take place from August 18 to 22 in Alicante, Spain. The previous venues include ECEM 2017 in Wuppertal, Germany, ECEM 2015 in Vienna, Austria, ECEM 2013 in Lund, Sweden, and ECEM 2011 in Marseille, France, etc. For a full list see http://eyemovement.org/ecem.html

The scientific committee of ECEM will decide on venues for future conferences at their meeting in Alicante in August 20, 2019. Please send your letter of interests or formal proposal by August 10, 2021 to Rudolf Groner, Chair of the scientific committee. We encourage you to discuss a potential proposal or make inquiries by contacting Rudolf Groner or any chairperson of previous ECEMs.
