Erkennt KI Sinn? Eine explorative Studie zur KI-gestützten Codierung von Sinnquellen, Sinnkrisen und Sinnerfüllung
Abstract
In 2007, Tatjana Schnell developed a questionnaire with 151 items for counseling, psychotherapy, and research to measure 26 sources of meaning as well as fulfillment of meaning and crises of meaning. The present study examines whether AI can recognize the 28 constructs of meaning operationalized by Tatjana Schnell in narrative interviews. In an iterative process 28 prompts for AI-supported analysis are developed in MAXQDA and tested in 19 interview transcripts on religious-spiritual turning points. The results are promising: around 91% correct coding shows that AI-supported coding is a valid and useful resource for pastoral care, spiritual care, psychotherapy, and research.
