Abstract
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Marcel Cellier (1925–2013), an ethnomusicologist, music producer and radio broadcaster from the French-speaking part of Switzerland, Lea Hagmann talks to his son, the multi-instrumentalist Alexandre Cellier, about his father's life and work from the 1950s to the 1990s, as well as the development of Eastern European folk music since then.
