Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements. If these rules are not respected, the Editorial Committee reserves the right to decline your article.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • If your article contains images, they are attached separately as image files (jpg, png, etc.). The rights relating to the images are your responsibility. They are settled before submission.
  • For quotes taken from interviews, you have obtained the corresponding rights. See the Interview Release Form.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • The text is formatted using the ‘Article Template’ document, which can be downloaded from the Author Guidelines.

Main article

Main articles should not exceed 40’000 char (incl. spaces and footnotes). 

Times and Perspectives

Contributions to be published in “Times and Perspectives”  should not exceed 10’000 char. (incl. spaces and footnotes).

Workshop-CH

 Shorter contributions to be published in or “Workshop- CH” should not exceed 10’000 char. (incl. spaces and footnotes). These shorter contributions may have varying formats, for example a written, audio or visual presentation of an original historical/musical source, an artist interview or a statement about current events. This section is not limited by the theme of the issue.

Reviews

Beiträge der Rubrik „Rezensionen“ können bis zu 10.000 Zeichen (inkl. Leerschläge) haben.
