Überlegungen und Anregungen zur Didaktik von Modalpartikeln

Abstract

The paper deals with some open questions in modal particle research, in particular also under the aspect of their mediation. First, the central feature of the sentence mode dependency of modal particles is discussed in detail, and the related question of the extent to which expressions containing modal particles are constructions or typical patterns and what consequences are to be drawn from this for the teaching of modal particles. After a short overview of the state of the art of modal particle didactics, various empirical evidences will be examined and, based on this, some suggestions for teaching will be formulated and still open didactic questions will be discussed.
