Los límites del enunciado
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to define the minimum unit of communication, the sentence, and to describe its boundaries. I revise its distinctive characteristics and propose the activity of the speaker as the key to determine which segments constitute one statement. This is crucial in cases such as parentheticals, “suspended” sentences, or dialogic cooperation.
