Phraseologismen in problemorientierter weiblicher Adoleszenzliteratur – ein Beispiel

Abstract

In this article, a qualitative aspect of the use of idioms within girl-literature, especially female adolescent literature, is presented, and will be checked for plausibility by using a singled out text - the novel Engel haben keinen Hunger from 2006 by Brigitte Biermann. It is shown that the idioms incorporated into the text not only serve the drastic description, but furthermore the establishment of another level of meaning.
