In this paper I analyze the creation of metaphors in the semantic field of sexual organs in two works of literature in Esperanto. It would be expected that the semantic field of sexual organs had the same characteristics as other semantic fields; however, its formation is conditioned by social pressure. Thus, metaphors have an important role in it, in which the term in question is replaced by another, lacking the negative connotations of the term tabuizado.
