BOP is a service offered by the University Library of Bern and is operated by the Open Access Team of the Open Science Department. The Open Access Team decides on the inclusion of new journals based on defined criteria (see BOP-Serials/Publishing Journals).

Scientific advisory board for books and book series.  

BOP’s Scientific Advisory Board  for books and book series covers a wide range of academic disciplines and consists of professors from the University of Bern and professors or directors from the centers and overarching units.  

The Scientific Advisory Board decides on the inclusion of book series and individual volumes and is responsible for the quality of the review. It also decides on the discontinuation of series if the quality is no longer sufficient.
