Abstract
The specialised scientific library of the Gosteli Archive on the history of the Swiss women’s movement is, like many other libraries, facing the challenges of the advance of digitisation and the new needs of users, which require a re-orientation of its approach. In recent years, many libraries have chosen to develop a strategy to analyse their own situation and environment and define objectives for the future. The aim of the article is to formulate a strategy for the Gosteli Archive, which is embedded in the overall strategy of the Gosteli Foundation and takes the library out of its current, rather passive role and makes it more attractive to a wider public.
